Here you will see the progression of Sala's self developed style over two decades. You see his unique and very three- dimensional modeling of the subjects against the background of deep perspective all within the two dimensional medium. His use of vivid colors against light and shadow, which he has developed over many years, is a hallmark of his work. Specifically his use of Payne's Gray and Orange hues that predominates the ground and make his subjects virtually jump off the canvas.
